June Photos

Hello all. I hope that everyone is having a fantastic change of season and will be able to travel to some exotic vacation destinations. As a pilot I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit many interesting locales experiencing the fun and excitement of new things and had the opportunity to meet some very interesting people. I thought I would share the most important thing I have learned from my travels. In the imortal words of wisdon published in 1900 by L Frank Baum and spoken by Dorothy back in 1939 "there's no place like home"!

Hugs and Blessings,
George

  1. Such beautiful places George. I wouldn't mind sitting on a beach in the Bahamas right about now! I agree with your words of wisdom. I love to travel and see new places, but there is no place on Earth, no matter how exotic, that's better than home. Hugs.

    1. I don't know Queenie- it is the end of the school year here and with exams and major reports due 'there's no place like home' seems a little exaggerated at the moment! LOL

      As usual George wonderful pictures

    2. Hi Queenie, yes the Bahamas are about my most favorite place to visit. The people are friendly and the water is in the "you gotta see to believe" category!

Ms Willie, you sound like Dorothy Gale in the Wizzard of Oz! But believe me the cacaphony you are experiencing now will one day be a cherished memory!

      Love you both...

  2. Thank you George for the lovely pictures...with summer coming on, I think I would prefer Maroon Lake in Colorado and save the Bahamas for our winter. ;)

Oh and yes, I do agree...there's no place like home.

  5. George I was thinking about you recently as we flew through the blue. I was telling Dan about the picture of the 'camel shadows' in the desert. I so wished I could have taken some pictures over the Alps, but the window where I sat was all misted up with snow crystals.

As usual your photos are superb. I especially love the one of the lake in Colorado. It gives me itchy feet no end. Thank you for sharing them with us! Hope you will continue to do so.

    Hugs

    1. Hi Ami, How come you didn't just roll down the window? LOL The camel pictures were amazing, but then so are you, you world traveler! I love taking the pictures and will keep on posting as long as I think they are worth viewing! Glad you like them my friend. Be well!
