May Photos

Hello everybody, sorry these are a few days late, but I have been a bit under the weather. Also, tomorrow is my first anniversary of blogging! I recall how scary it was to select the publish button that first time! But all for no reason because this is a really great community. I have met many new friends and learned a lot from everyone. Although I am certainly not the most prolific blogger, I have always been made to feel right at home! Thank you to all!

    2. Cali, thank you so much! In all my time flying, I too never tire of looking out the window! You should be a pilot! We need more female pilots! Yes the flowers are really beautiful! You make me smile with your exclamation points! I don't think you are shouting, I think you are just an exuberant spirit! (see I can be exuberant also!)

      Hugs back,

    1. Thanks Cat, finally feeling better. Glad you enjoyed the flowers. I plan to hang around for a while, God willing and the creek don't rise! (or in my case here in Oklahoma, if a tornado doesn't carry me off to the land of Oz!)

Hugs and Blessings to you too,

      George

  5. A year? What a difference a year makes! Wow. It doesn't seem like a year has gone by, yet I can't remember blogland without you either ! I do still remember the first blog of mine you commented on though!
Might I just say I am happy that you have been here. I know many out there, myself included appreciate not only the male voice you share, but the voice of a happily married man for over 3 decades. At the foundation of ttwd for many of us is to make our marriage stronger. So it is wonderful to hear from someone who has been growing in that regard for so long!
    Thank you George.
    Love

PS. I plant all three of those 'spring' flowers in the Aspen photo, in my front garden in the SUMMER ! LOL.

    1. Willie, a year sure has made a big difference! Yours was the first blog I commented on and although I was very nervous, you were always so gracious in your responses were encouraging and always made me feel welcome.

I appreciate your kind words. I have really enjoyed being included and accepted in this community and while I am glad that I have been able to share a male viewpoint, I also have learned a great deal from all of you. This is such an open and unpretentious group, it is always fun and interesting to read what everyone has to share. I am amazed how we discuss things that are normally shared with only our closest friend. Yet, we really are all like a group of best friends, and that is what makes this community so great.

Marriages are hard in the best of times and a good marriage takes an enormous amount of work on both parties. TTWD opens communication and sharing in a way that is in many ways greater than sexual intimacy. When you ask to be spanked, you bare your soul and demonstrate a trust that is complete. I hope you and Barney, and all the couples who practice TTWD continue to grow as couple's for all the years ahead.

Thanks again for your kind words, I was touched. How about posting a picture of your flowers this summer after they are in full bloom?

      Love,
      George
