Tornados, Keys, and Spankings

It was exactly one year ago yesterday the F5 tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma killing 24 and destroying over a thousand homes.

Yesterday was windy, but the skies are not filled with anything but blue. The two elementary schools which were destroyed are being rebuilt with a safe room for the kids and expected to open this fall. The majority of the homes have been rebuilt, but there are many under construction and the neighborhoods, while recovering, still show evidence of the carnage. The vast majority of the residents have no plans to leave and don't want to live anywhere else. Every locale has it's weather issues and so I along with all my neighbors will just march ahead watching and waiting for the inexorable next round of tornado's.

On a different note, I recently had cause to look-up the word "Key" and discovered to my fascination (note, only takes a little to get me excited LOL), that there are seven different meanings! They are:

1) LOCK - A small specifically shaped piece of metal you put into a lock.
2) IMPORTANT PART - The key part of a plan or action that will make it possible to succeed. The key to success...
3) COMPUTER- The buttons pressed on a computer keyboard  to operate the computer.
4) MUSIC - The wooden or metal parts you press on a piano and some wind instruments in order to make them play. Also, the key of a particular piece of music, Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
5) MAP/DRAWING- A list of the signs, colors, etc used on a map or technical drawing that explains what they mean.
6) TEST- The printed answers to a test or set of questions.
7) ISLAND - A small flat island, especially one that is a part of a group near the coast: The Florida Keys.

(ok, I confess.  It was definition 7 for which I was searching bacuase I had a trip to fly some folks to the Florida keys last wekend!)

On the spanking scene, last week I asked Nina to spank me and with a mischevious look in her eyes said OK. We both agreed that I was in need of some chilling and so off to the bedroon we went. I got undressed and she got her favorite paddle.

I left my underwear on but to no avail because before she started they got removed! I positioned myself across her lap while she was sitting on the bed and Nina started spanking my bare bottom. Very soon I was hollering ow, but her response was "don't be such a wimp!" Gotta love that girl! After what seemed to me to be an eternity my backside was hot, red and sore. We then proceeded to have some other great fun on the bed! Amazing how a spanking can get you both in the mood for great sex!

Well, that is about it for now so until next time,

Hugs and Blessings,

George

  1. Hey George!
I love that your Nina loves to spank you and even gives you some sass along the way! Makes it so much fun, huh? And yes, somehow even non-spanko's get into the 'mood' after a giving a good spanking - works out great for everyone!

I'm so glad that your state is working together to get back to normal after such a huge disaster. I've lived through things like that after earthquakes, and it's always a great feeling when things start returning to normal.

I love the photo of the Keys! I really hope that I get to go there someday too. :)

    hugs,
    Cali

    1. Hi Cali, for a non-spanko Nina is a really good spanker and yes, I love it when she gets sassy with me. It usually makes me more recalcitrant and both of us get more into the moment. And speaking of "moods" the mood after a sassy/recalcitrant spanking is definitely set for more fun!

I have never been in a major earthquake, we only have small ones here in Oklahoma, but it is good to see the recovery coming along.

The Florida keys are a great place to visit and the scenery is really something. The Hemingway house and museum is located in Key West and there are tons of other things to see and do.

The Dry Tortuga's are located about 90 miles west of Key West and is another place I want to visit. Fort Jefferson Natl Park is there and that is where they took Dr Mudd after he was convicted of assisting John Wilkes Boothe after the assination of President Lincoln.

      Hugs and Blessings,
      George

  2. Hey George...I didn't realize that you were in Moore...hope you and Nina have recovered from the devastation. I saw a special on the news the other night about the rebuilding of Moore and adding the storm shelters to the schools...think they ought to be added to every school! They could retrofit into existing buildings. I'd pay extra taxes if they were specifically for adding storm shelters!

I've lived in tornado alley all my life and have hit the basement many times. More than once, I've watched tornadoes go right overhead. Was on a conference call one time with my boss standing outside to keep an eye on things and watched the sky go green...but since there are no windows in my basement, I stayed outside so I could see what was going on. Had never had much damage until 5 years ago when my mom was ground zero and the duplex she was living in was destroyed...she was not seriously injured but ended up in the hospital for a week. Lost most of her family keepsakes but the most important thing came out safe...her!

Happy you and Nina enjoyed your spanking. ;) Thanks for sharing the lovely pic of the Florida keys. You are such an awesome photographer!

    Hugs and Blessings...

    1. Hi Cat, the tornado missed us by about 3/4 of a mile and thankfully we suffered no damage to our house. I am in total agreement with you about doing whatever it takes to get storm shelters in all the schools! Since you live in tornado alley you can relate to the implortance of that.

I too have stood outside watching tornados pass overhead. A few years ago I was at the airport and watched one touch down a few miles away. It was just like in "The Wizzard of Oz"! Green clouds are nasty and usually that indicates hail. What is it with us, are we just a little crazy or what?

Sorry about your mom and her house, but so happy she was safe. That is really what matters most.

Yes, Nina and I had a fun time and I admit I am getting in the mood to do a repeat....hope she is also!

I am flattered you compliment me on the picture, but I would be dishonest if I didn't say that while I did take several photos flying around the keys, none of mine turned out worth a flip, so I got that one off the internet. I do agree it is really great and only wish mine had been half that good!

      Blessings and Hugs,
      George

    1. Hi Roz, yes the community really did pull together to help those that suffered so much from the F5 tornado. It is coming along, but it does take time!

Nina and I do have fun playing together....especially considering our ages! LOL! And I am so grateful she is so willing to spank me!

Glad you liked the picture, but like I admitted to Cat, I had to go to the internet to get that one.

  4. H iGeorge,

I think #4 is actually two different definitions, so the total is now up to 8!

Tornadoes are terrible things. I'm glad they are very rare where we live.

    1. Hermione, thanks for the comment. I think you are right, it is eight! Amazing that anyone ever learns English with all the multiple meanings to the same words!

Be thankful tornadoes are not common where you live. They are the most destructive forces of nature. I have read an F5 tornado can even suck the asphalt off the road!

It's May and I still looked at the picture of the Florida Keys with longing. Come summer come.

    1. Susie, this was my first visit to the Florida Keys and they were well worth the trip. I told Nina I would definitely be taking her there sometime. I am so blessed to be a pilot and get to fly to so many fantastic locations.

I hope summer descends upon you very soon.

      Blessings and Hugs,

  6. That was so tough about the tornadoes last year, George! glad to hear that the rebuilding has been successful. Will keep you in my prayers that the weather will cooperate from this day forward.

Aww- Nina sounds like she gave you just what you needed. Then you had some very fine loving post that. Good for you both!!

The Keys are cool! I remember having just had my license and my dad making me drive down there when we went as a family, one weekend. Those bridges sure did go on and on... Luckily I braved it all and am actually still driving! LOL! Beautiful from what I remember. Jimmy Buffett land. :) Many hugs,

    1. Hi Katie,

Things are getting rebuilt, and life is returning to normal for most of the town. One good thing that has happened is the rebuilt schools have a safe room for the students and teachers. There were several teachers who literally threw themselves over their students in order to protect them. True hero's in every sense of the word.

I have decided Nina is either a really good sport or a closet spanko! Either way she can sure spank and does so with a smile on her face! As far as the after spanking extra curricular activities, for all of the "younger" participants, I hope you might find it encouraging to know although I am 63 years old, the duration may have dropped a notch but the passion remains as strong as ever!

Wow, I am impressed. I cannot imagine just getting my license and driving down the Keys! There are indeed some long bridges to traverse on the way to Margaritaville! Way to go Katie!

      Hugs,

      George
