A Lite Hearted Perspective

Hello to all. Things have been a little slow around our place lately. School is back in full swing and our youngest who has started her first year teaching is getting over the shock of real life and into a routine. Our oldest is anxiously waiting for her wedding day next month and most of the plans are in place. I suspect this recent calm is actually the proverbial "calm  before the storm"! But that is OK, because I am ready for an adventure or two!

Someone sent Nina these a while ago and I thought they were amusing, so naturally I wanted to share them with all of you.

Perspective is sometimes so much more important than we realize!

Blessings,

George

  2. Hi George, these are great. Naughty at first glance, but totally innocent ... or maybe it's just my mind LoL

Good luck with the wedding prep. An exciting time!

    1. Roz, perspective is an amazing thing...and of course we are all of the same mind at first glance! So what does that say about us? LOL

  4. LOL Love how totally innocent each photo really is, and so does not seem at first glance. :) Thakn you for sharing. :) I hope that the wedding plans go well. One thing that really helped me was to say "As long as I'm married at the end of the day, nothing else matters." And thank goodness I said it, cake got ruined when I broke my foot, one of the bridesmaids dresses did not come together right, the ring bearer was sick, and almost didn't make it down the aisle {I did not know he was sick or I would have pulled the poor little guy} and on and on. But I was married, and it was great. And in the end, each thing that went wrong is a memory I can look back on with a smile or a laugh or a heart felt emotion that is good. :)

    1. Wow, Es May, you really had an exciting day! Glad you can look back and laugh about it. It's always been a little disturbing to me how some brides are so incredibly uptight about every little thing being perfect or they feel the whole wedding is *ruined*. Love your perspective :)

    2. Es May glad you liked the photos. Wow! What a wedding day you had. Thanks for the great advice, I am going to remind myself of your wise counsel next month. I hope I make it without too much emotion. I always cry in the "Father of the Bride" movie!

      Blessings,
      George
