My Fascination with Spanking

I am not sure how to start. My last post was light and simple, but today I want to share more personal details about my fascination with spanking.

I am clueless as to how I became so drawn to spanking. I was spanked as a child, but I do not approve of spanking children and never spanked my own. Growing up in the fifties, spanking was the normal consequence for a plethora of deeds. However, spanking never corrected my errant behavior; it just made me more careful when I chose to disregard the rules!

It was during my late teens when I discovered spanking stories found them exciting…and still do. I had a girlfriend in college that kept threatening to spank me for this or that, and so one day I ask her if she had a “thing” about spanking. I told her if she did it was ok with me and she could spank me if she wanted. But she quickly denied any desire to spank. Well, she never did spank me and it wasn’t long after that we were no longer a couple.

After Nina and I were married the desire went away for several years, then it started to return. I hinted around and then finally one night I came right out and asked her to spank me. I admitted to her how I enjoyed being spanked, and talk about scared; I wasn’t sure what to expect. Turns out that although she was not into spanking, she was happy to indulge my fantasies. That first spanking was not much to speak of, but we started playing spanking games and it really added to our “fun times” together. She even ordered a paddle for a present one Christmas. She still applies it on occasion and I tell you, even though it’s small, it makes quite an impression!

Throughout the last 30 or so years off and on we have incorporated spanking play into our relationship. I say off and on. Kids slowed things down and later on caring for aging parents also put things on hold. Life has its priorities and sometimes spanking play has to take a backseat to more pressing matters.

I do not want to give the impression that our relationship has been all sunshine and flowers because like most all couples, there were times when it was stretched almost to the breaking point. However, we managed to steer the ship through the stormy seas and back into calm waters.

We still spank for play but also have added spankings for stress relief. As I entered my sixth decade I began to worry way too much, and when I get stressed about things, I get a tiny bit out of sorts (Nina would say it is more like I get real unpleasant to be around, lol!).

I became stressed because you see I have at least 50 more years of plans, but know I will not live to be 110! Bummer!  However, after a great stress relief spanking, the worries disappear and I am once again content and happy. It is not logical and I cannot explain why, but it just works for me.

Good news is that I have made peace with my worries, and instead of fretting about what I may or may not accomplish before I start pushing up daisies, I try instead to focus on making each day as special as possible.

I am a strong Christian believer and know that after this life I will be in a better place with literally all the time in the world. However, I also have no doubts that until then I will find many more stupid reasons to get stressed.

It is an ongoing effort to keep a positive attitude when life starts to get the better you, but I know I can depend on God and Nina to keep things in perspective. God lights up my spirit and Nina lights up my backside!  How can anyone ask for more than that?

Blessings…..

  2. I really identify with you George - in so many ways. I still haven't had a stress relief spanking (could have used one this morning before church, lol) but I almost always close my eyes when hubby is spanking me. I love it so.

It's interesting when you are married to someone who doesn't necessarily love to spank, but loves you enough to spank you when you want/need it. Like you, I'm very thankful for that.

    1. Hi Cali, I know what you mean about getting ready for church. I have no idea why that is so stressful, but more often than not, it usually ranks high on my stress list also!

I agree it says a lot about our partners who are willing to indulge us. I know that it is sometimes a lot to ask, but then the rewards are plentiful because it allows the real person we are to blossom and grow.

      Blessings to you my friend,
      George

  3. Hi George, :)

Thank you for sharing the story of how you got started. Your Nina sounds like a wonderful woman, giving you what you need even though it may not have been an interest of hers. That's true love, isn't it?

Rob tells me that he can take it or leave it- spanking me, but that he does it because I brought it to our marriage. He likes the results he says and I secretly think he has a teeny bit of spanko in him. The man does an awful lot of swatting! We have a lot to be grateful for, don't we? Hugs and blessings back at you!

    1. Hello Katie.

Nina is an amazing woman! I tell her all the time how I want to be just like her when I grow up :-), problem is that I don't know if/when I will ever grow up, lol!

We definitely do have so much to be thankful for. I have often suspected Nina of having a bit of spanko in her also. She sure seems to enjoy her part of the bargin!

True love...absolutely. I am thinking about writing a post all about love. It sure is a talked about subject in this community (and everywhere really).

      Hugs,
      George

    1. Hi Roz,

I thought it time to share a bit of more personal info. Not sure that anyone was interested, but then again, I never thought I would ever author a blog so I just decided, what the heck, a person doesn't have to read it, and wrote it! lol

I actually prayed for some help becuase I was getting to be like Eyeore in Winne the Pooh. It came to me like a message from above most suddenly saying, "Hey stupid, get on with living your life. You're just wasting the time I have given you by fretting" That was a paraphrase of course! LOL!

I know I will backslide, but at leasst I have a plan and know that I can count on my guardian angel to remind me when I am acting boneheaded!

Hugs and blessings back to you my friend,
      George

  5. It is amazing what a spanking can do. :) I've tried convincing th Duke to let me give him one, he hasn't okayed it yet. LOL

I do think it's great when a non spanker will still spank for someone who needs it. The Duke I think could give it up any day, me, it has helped me so much, and I am so thankful for his gift to me. :)

110 is not such a bad age to aim at. :) I'm not sure I want to live that long, but it may work for you. :) People seem to be living longer and longer now. :)

    1. Hi Es May. Thanks for dropping by. Yes, it is terrific what our non-spanking spouses will do for us. It says something how they are willing to accommodate our desires without really understanding why we ask what we do. I guess it is a trust thing...

Now that you mention it, living to 110 may not be such a pleasant experience! I will just wait til the Lord calls me home and not fret! Then again, I know me and I will get all worked up at times and need a stress relief spanking to calm me down! Perhaps I just need to cut down on my to-do list :-). Nope, won't do that either, so I guess I will just make my way through life and try to keep a glass half full attitude.

      Blessings,
      George
